Solidworks Trial Version: Now Available!

We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience. Now that you have thoroughly read through the new members booklet and reviewed the two technical drawings, it's time to download Solidworks and get started!

To access the download, please the follow the link below and fill in the information requested. A proper email address is required as Solidworks will send you further activation information.

Please be advised of the large file size (2.1GB). The download will take several hours to complete in most cases.

The new member project due date has now been extended to Monday November 5th, 2007. As stated in the new members booklet, please complete the Solidworks tutorials listed in Part A and the machine shop drawing for Part B, which is available to download below.

Please save your files for both part A and B and send it to info@formulaubc.com as a zip file with "New Members Project" in the subject. Please name the file with your full name, for example JohnDoe.zip . Once again, the submission deadline has been extended to November 5th, 2007.

Solidworks Trial Version

We are still working with Solidworks to provide a download trial version of the Solidworks software. We expect to have an update on or before Wednesday October 24th. We apologize for this delay and we will be pushing back the deadline for the new members project accordingly. Please continue to check website and this new members page for updates.

New Member Project

Please download and read through the new members booklet. In there you will find the new member project description.
(Right click and "Save As..." the file your computer)

You will need Solidworks to complete the new members project, as outline in the booklet. The Solidworks trial version download will be available by Friday October 19.

Chapter 9.1-SolidWorks Project in the new members booklet outlines the files needed to complete the new members projects. The two files required for Part B of the project are located below:
